Just downgraded to an older version of PHP on Fedora 9

To see if it still strips the angle backets.

I downgraded the libxml2 rpm’s on Fedora 9. Things seem to be behaving again..

Just updated PHP back to the newer version leaving libxml2 out of the update.

When using a desktop blog publisher posting the entry, WordPress seems to strip out
I’m not using mod_security which is what most people say is the problem.

Has anyone found a solution that works. I’ve tried downgrading to v2.5.1 with no luck.

It screws up the posts no matter what desktop application I use.
