Metallica to tour with Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax?

Now, I don’t know about you. But this would be one hell of a gig to go to. If this does turn out to be true and happens, I sure as hell hope it comes to New Zealand. Even Australia would be worth the money to see them all in one place.

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich is secretly plotting a metal supertour, which will include his band, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax.

Slayer guitarist Kerry King has let it slip that negotiations have started during an interview with Britain’s Metal Hammer magazine.

Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax toured with Alice In Chains on the Clash Of The Titans tour in 1991, while Metallica and Megadeth played a one-off show in Britain in 1993 – but the four acts have never performed on the same bill.

New Metallica single

Well, after listening to a rather low quality version which is hosted on YouTube. I am still not sure whether I will buy the new album when it comes out. I have all their others including St. Anger so I may just to add it to the collection and hope there has been better work put into their other songs on the album.

Personally I feel they are sounding more like a Garage band cutting their teeth, rather than the seasoned gods of rock we all came to know in the 80′s.

Is it titled "The day that never comes" because Metallica is never to return to the god status they had with Master of Puppets etc.?? I have to say that at least Kirk seems to have been given some freedom again. :)
