Brothels next to schools

Over on the New Zealand Herald website there is an article about a Brothel that has been setup directly opposite a school.

The Club Red Door has opened across the road from Henderson Intermediate School, angering parents, staff and residents who say brothels should not be located so close to children.

While, personally I have no problem with people running Brothels, there is obviously a market for them. I do how ever have an issue with these pricks using ‘Massage’ to advertise their whore houses.

As a co-owner of a Professional Massage Therapy business in which we are sick of getting phone calls from morons looking for a thrill It really makes my blood boil when I see a whore house with a sign that simply says ‘Massage’ out the front.

As a Qualified Massage Therapist and having spent a lot of time training in the Human Musculoskeletal systems in order to provide a professional health service to clients, It is hard enough forging a professional image when for so long the term ‘massage’ has been used for ‘happy endings’ or Brothels.

This country needs to move forward and start regulating the massage therapy industry. Unfortunately it would appear the National Body (Massage New Zealand) is not doing anything in regards to getting the industry regulated. In fact, it would seem they are only collecting membership fees to line their own back pocket.

Yes, I’m fuming over a sign. But there is a difference between a Massage Clinic and a Brothel. It’s hard enough re-educating the general public to that fact as it is!

Name suppression anyone, Just be a well know person!

Ok, This is stupid. A blogger is in court over name suppression when if this had been a general joe public there would have been no name suppression anyway.

The prominent New Zealand comedian is charged with committing a sexual offence against a four-year-old.

Shit like this really makes me think New Zealand is more corrupt than most people think. Just because this piece of shit for an existence is “known” and supposedly a prominent figure. Why the hell should he get name suppression.

This is just stupid.

String the prick up by his nuts and let the F#$%er rot somewhere where the public can through rotten tomatoes at this sorry excuse for a human being.

New Years Eve in the Square

Posted under Rant & Rave by Kimberly on Friday 1 January 2010 at 9:35 am UTC

Well, first of all. Let me wish you all a very happy new year. I hope 2010 is a prosperous and good year for you all.

We went to New Years Eve in the Palmerston North Square last night. I have to say I was a little disappointed. After deciding we would wait until the little children’s acts were done we went in about 9pm. We arrived and found somewhere to park ourselves on a blanket.

Well, the sound system setup was not great. It was very overdriven by the bass. We got there and a Beatles cover band were playing. Could’ve sounded pretty good if the sound system didn’t sound overdriven.

Then we were subjected to some wanna be band from Masterton called Deaf Lemon. Yeah, they must be tone deaf. They totally killed songs from Guns ‘n Roses and the Chili Peppers (and not in a good way) which I guess wrote them off me. then with the the language the dopey chick who couldn’t sing was using wasn’t exactly suitable for a “family” event. I was highly disappointed.

Then things got better. That ‘80s Band came on stage at about 11:35pm, wow did they make it worth going. seemed to have sorted out the sound system too which made it all that much better. Don’t get me wrong, all in all we had a great night but the sound system and the band “Deaf Lemon” did let down the evening some what.

Hopefully the Palmerston North City Council will get it right next year :)

WMG Claiming Copyright to Content that’s not theirs

Posted under Rant & Rave by Kimberly on Saturday 21 November 2009 at 11:21 pm UTC

Ok. As some of you may know. I was involved in a Motorcycle protest ride in which I had my Video camera running down the Motorway of Wellington from the Police College to Parliament.

Well, I uploaded said video to YouTube and they claim WMG owns the copyright to my audio track. I’m doing an audio swap of the audio portion now but WTF. Where do they get off claiming my Audio from my Video Camera on the Motorway with 100′s of Motorbikes around me is copyright to WMG.

Get your heads out of your arse YouTube.

Draconian ACC Levy on motorcyclists

Posted under Rant & Rave by Kimberly on Wednesday 14 October 2009 at 10:43 pm UTC

This is a sure fire way to have 21000 bikers lobbying furiously at the next election.

ACC’s proposal today to increase motorcycle registrations as part of arise in levies is a disgrace.

All motorcycles currently pay $252.69 in levies. Under the changes,

126-600cc bikes will increase from $252.69 to $511.43;
601+ cc increases to $745.77;

if you drive a moped, you’re screwed – currently $59 but you will pay $257.58 a year.

And ACC’s argument? Motorcyclists are 16 times more likely than car drivers to be involved in accidents.

They seem to have forgotten or just blatantly ignored the fact that it is, in most cases the car drivers that hit the motorcyclists because they are either just dumb, ignorant or too busy talking on their bloody cell phone.

If we’re going to start levying the CC rating of motor cycles, why not kick these boy racers with their performance cars too. This is a joke New Zealand. And pure daylight robbery.

The NZMCCG members are currently drafting a petition and possibly a ride down to wellington to make our thoughts heard on this. I will post info as I get the info but keep an eye on the NZMCCG Blog or the NZMCCG forums if your a member of the site.

Come on Kiwi Riders, we cannot do what New Zealand is good at and be a lemming. We need to make our voices heard on this.
