Well, I’ve seen a lot of people bitching on twitter over the last few days. Google seem to be finding out that “You can’t please everyone all of the time”

Google has unleashed what some think is the “Black bar of death” Now, not everyone has this bar and I only have it on my business Google Apps account. But I kinda like it. It’s clean and easy to read. Yeah, I like black but hell it could be worse. It could be fluro yellow or green..

Anyway, I fail to see where the problem is, Why do so many dislike it?

What are your thoughts? Do you like the black bar or not. I for one hope it sticks around.

Having received a few of my grandfathers items. I’m finding myself on a bit of a history mission.

The photos below are a couple of booklets I receiced. One being a film catalogue of 16mm films, which I can’t find a publication date on. The other is, I believe to be a settlers booklet which has a date of 1923 on it.

If you have any information about either of these. I’d love to hear from you or if you could put me in touch with an historian who may have further information.

• Day 23- Something you crave for a lot

Short and sweet this one is.

I honestly don’t think I crave for anything as I have everything I need / want

• Day 22- What makes you different from everyone else

Given the fact I don’t personally know “everyone else” trying to describe my differences is hard. Do I think like everyone else? probably not but then I may have the same opinion as a lot of other people. I don’t think I look like anyone else. Maybe I have an evil twin look a like in the world but as yet have no knowledge of them, probably a good thing.

So what makes me different from everyone else?

Well, I’m me!. No one else is me. No one else can be standing in the exact same spot, at the exact same time I am.

• Day 21- A picture of something that makes you happy

Not limited to just this, but playing in the pool with in the middle of summer and spending time with my family. Along with having bbq’s is definitely up there on the list of things that make me happy. Summer overall makes me happy though. I don’t like cold so could never live anywhere that get’s snow.

• Day 20- Someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future

I am already with the person I see myself being with in the future. My best friend, my rock, my lover, my partner, my sanity when everything seems insane.

I’d post a picture, but I keep getting told off.. opps.

• Day 19- Nicknames you have; why do you have them

I wouldn’t consider myself as having nicknames, I get called Kim, which is just shortened from Kimberly. I also get called Kimmy which is just a variant that I picked up somewhere along the line. I don’t know whether not having some outrageous nickname is a bad thing or not.

No matter which way you look at it though, calling me Kimberly is more likely to get my attention over calling me anything else.

• Day 18- Plans/dreams/goals you have

Dreams, well I have a dream of winning the big one but that has yet to come to me.

My main goal is to build my primary income from the work I do with in the New Media area.

Planning for the dream house is up there which kind of goes hand in hand with my goals of living comfortably and with in our means.

I think this area is probably due for a sit down and revisit what needs to be prioritised and re-establish target dates to get there.

• Day 17- Someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why

Why on earth would I want to switch lives with anyone. I like my life very much and don’t think there is anyone I would like to live in their shoes.

Having said that though. Does switching lives with my cat for one day count? I wouldn’t mind see just what it is she gets upto. Oh, hang on. Sleep, eat and sleep some more followed by chasing things around the house and being waited on hand and foot.. Well, Maybe I could do that for a day.
