WordPress Desktop Publishing Problem.

Ok, This is really bugging me now.

pposts should not look like this./p

When using a desktop blog publisher posting the entry, WordPress seems to strip out
I’m not using mod_security which is what most people say is the problem.

Has anyone found a solution that works. I’ve tried downgrading to v2.5.1 with no luck.

It screws up the posts no matter what desktop application I use.

Farmers Market a disappointment

Posted under General by Kimberly on Friday 26 September 2008 at 12:11 pm UTC

Well, we headed over to Feilding to the Farmers Market to get some veges. It was a disappointment over all.

The prices were no better than what Super Markets are and the produce looked just as ho-hum. Has New Zealand lost the plot on what Markets are. Many years ago the Feilding Farmers Markets were large and the pricing very good. Along with the quality of produce on offer.

There were only a handful of stalls there. Oh well, back to the super market it is. Until our vege garden is producing that is :)

Compaq DL360 1u Rack Mount Server

Ok, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to purchase this off Trade Me when I saw it.

Heck, how often do you get a 1u rack mount server for under $100 that is a reasonable spec machine. Dual processor with a gig of ram.

It’s now running the web sites I have and doing a very good job of it so far. It seems to handle running Fedora reasonably well and the installation was no cause for concern. It sounds a bit like a jet because of the fans in it, so it’s been nick named "The Jet" I would hate to imagine the noise of a rack of these things.

I was watching an IBM xServer which went for $255 but unfortunately it was a little out of the budget at the time.

Women warned about serial bag snatcher

Having read this on 3 News’ web site

Women in Auckland’s eastern suburbs are being urged to be on the alert for a serial bag snatcher who has struck five times in the last few days.
National > Story > Women warned about serial bag snatcher

brought to mind, the amount of women who have their handbags sitting in the ‘child seat’ of the trolley at super markets. What’s even more surprising is the amount that you see open and unattended while the owner browses the shelves looking for the items they want.

I hope they catch up with this gutless moron, who needs to pray on elderly women.
Be careful out there girls. It could happen to any one of us, anywhere. I’m sure situations like this are not just limited to Auckland
